What’s on guide: Never too early for Christmas

Swansea’s waterfront winterland is a classic in the city, with rides and fires to roast marshmallows and all the warming christmas drinks you can get your hands on, plus we’ll see the return of ice skating at the site, with sessions taking place all throughout winter. The site is opening its doors this year on the 15th November, all the way through until 7th January.

Cardiff’s winter wonderland is Wales’ flagship winter christmas experience, with the ice rink now being moved into the Castle, the whole event is growing every year. Their alpine village, serving perfect christmas tipples, to the rides and games, plus of course, you can get a view of the whole city on their massive ferris wheel, just 2 minutes outside the city centre, opening its doors on the 16th November.

And finally, Caerphilly Borough is welcoming shoppers from across Wales, with plenty of food and drink and gift markets taking place across the county. They start with Ystrad Mynach’s food and craft fair on the 18th November, followed by Blackwood’s taking place on 25 November 2023. Then there's Caerphilly’s on 2nd December and last but not least Bargoed on 9th December.
