1990 adverts - The Great Caruso

These are adverts shown during the broadcast of the film The Great Caruso on Channel 4 back in 1990. There are a lot of famous faces in this, such as a pre-EastEnders Jake Wood (aka Max Branning), Hugh Laurie & Stephen Fry, Gordon Kennedy (National Lottery), Gabrielle Glaister (Brookside's Patricia Farnham), Frank Bruno, Leslie Crowther, Rupert Vansittart (Heartbeat) and Liz Smith (Vicar of Dibley). It's even got adverts for sugar and chocolate in the pre-PC days! There are 4 ad breaks in all, and they are as follows:
1st break: Smarties; Prudential Investments (I Want To Be...a Slug - EastEnders' Jake Wood)); Alliance & Leicester Building Society (Fry & Laurie - Medallion ad); Cesar dog food (Caught in the rain); Halls menthal sweets (Gordon Kennedy - Train) and Golden Churn butter (cartoon King - Willie Rushton voiceover).
