1983 adverts - Paint Your Wagon

Adverts from the film Paint Your Wagon from Xmas 1983. There are some classic ads among here, as well as well known faces who weren't yet famous, including sitcom stars Gorden Kaye and Only Fools' Mickey Pearce (Patrick Murray) and Julie Peasgood, along with better known Michael Dennison and pop star Joe Brown, along with less desirable Dave Lee Travis and Arthur Mullard (but you can't have everything). There are 5 ad breaks in all, and the adverts that appeared are as follows:
1st break: TDK video tapes (Pink Panther plays snooker); Croft Original wine (Jeeves & Wooster at Lord Glastonbury's home - Michael Dennison); Chanel No19 perfume (Holiday diners); British Turkeys; Tefal Irons (Brainy Scientists); National & Provincial building society; St Bruno pipe tobacco (St Bernard dog delivers to fisherman by boat); Denim (Santa's coming) and Carling Black Label beer (Xmas decorations),
2nd break: Fairy soap (Girl Brownies at camp); Heineken beer (Snowglobe); Cristal d'arques crockery; Andrex Puppy (with duck, but minus the Slade music); Fox's Crunch Cream biscuits (Julie Peasgood - Boating on the river); Branston Pickle; Fresh Cream (Kids spot Santa pouring cream on pudding); Quality Street (Kid with dancers), and Le Piat D'Or wine.
3rd break: Zanussi washing machines; Fairy Liquid (Girl talks to dolls); Terry's All Gold chocolates; British Turkey; QC Cream British Sherry; Sanyo Music System (Owl); Woolworths Xmas Sale (Joe Brown & Dave Lee Travis), and Denim (Santa's Coming).
4th break: Baxters Scotch vegetable soup (Couple transported to Highlands); Tia Maria drink (Dining couple); Smash potato (Laughing Martians - Dinner date); BiSoDol indigestion remedy (Pace of Life); Twix bar (Rally car racer); Debenhams toy sale; Rowenta irons (Iron Graveyard); Scholl's thermal insoles (Don't get cold feet for winter), and Pulsar Quartz watches.
5th break (after film): TV ad for In Search of Father Christmas; Frosties cereal (Tony stops Tigerman stealing secret formula); National & Provincial building society (14 merged into 1); Chanel No5 perfume (I Don't Want To Set The World on Fire); Haze air freshener (Arthur Mullard - Prisoner chained in dungeon); Zanussi machines (Gorden Kaye and Patrick Murray); Ocean Spray Cranberry Sauce; Tunes methol sweets (Cab driver); TV Times Holiday Brochere, and TDK video tapes (Pink Panther). Then TV ads for Adam Ant - Prince Charming Revue, Jason & The Argonauts film and The Krankies at Christmas (well, you can't have everything...).
