Govt aims to have 10,000 EV charging bays nationwide by 2025

A total of 10,000 electric vehicle charging bays (EVCB) are expected to be set up nationwide within the next two years, says Local Government Development Minister Nga Kor Ming.  Speaking at a press conference in Parliament on Thursday (Oct 12), he said the target was set following the announcement of planning guidelines to speed up and standardise the development of EVCBs. 01:29 Therefore, investors and industry players can link to the KPKT portal by the end of this November

01:42 so that they can be sure of which country and locations have been made suitable for charging.
