Open payment system at all gantries in Prasarana facilities by Aug 2025

00:44 the company has begun planning the implementation of open payment systems,

00:49 starting with the rail service network in Lembah Klang.

00:52 The company is now finalising the implementation plan

00:55 for the Rapid Rail network that includes the Kranajaya MRT,

00:59 Ampang MRT, Kajang MRT, Petrajaya MRT and Monorail.

01:05 This new system will introduce the use of MyDebit and Card Credit

01:09 as an additional payment mode in the gantry,

01:12 in addition to the existing payment method using Touch & Go cards or tokens.

01:16 Design and development work is expected to begin in March 2024.

01:21 The company will take a 11-month period,

01:24 that is until February 2025,

01:26 to prepare 50% of the gantry at each station

01:30 to accept the open payment method.

01:32 By August 2025, all gantries at each station will be ready.

01:38 If necessary, this system will continue to be developed

01:41 by enabling the use of other payment modes,

01:43 such as QR code, in the next phase of implementation.

01:47 In addition, for the entire range of KTMB commuter trains in Lembah Klang,

01:54 the lift of the Ticket or Automatic Fare Collection system is now almost complete.

02:02 KTMB users can enjoy new facilities,

02:04 where all 57 KTMB commuter stations in Lembah Klang

02:08 are equipped with a gantry payment system

02:11 that supports the open payment method,

02:13 including credit cards, debit cards, Touch & Go and QR code,

02:17 through the KTMB mobile application or KITS.

02:21 The total cost of the project is 29 million rupiahs.
