00:00 I was joking. They're all right.
00:01 Considering supporting primary challenges to any of these
00:04 able public. Well, you know, one of the things, um, when I was running for
00:08 speaker, that's it. I couldn't get involved in primaries, but I told the
00:11 conference I'm a free agent now, aren't I? I think I'm pretty good at electing
00:15 people.
00:15 Last time you spoke to President Biden, do you expect you now? You know, I was
00:21 thinking about that. It's been a long, long time.
00:23 I couldn't remember when I spoke to him last.
00:30 You know, I've worked with a couple different presidents. Um,
00:32 I would have thought
00:34 I thought we had built some respect for one another going through the debt
00:40 ceiling. I know he got frustrated with me, but and I have a great deal of
00:46 respect for the people in his office. I worked for Rashedi and all them. I think
00:51 there look, we have different philosophy, Schwan's than the others.
00:54 Um, they're smart. I respect them. They were honest. Um, and I thought we made
01:00 a good agreement. Um, as a president, I would engage more.
01:04 I think being hands on. Look, you're the leader of the free world. Um, all the
01:11 other presidents. I think bringing people together is a better way.
01:14 Talking through stuff when you're in those rooms, you can talk about all
01:17 sorts of things.
01:23 To what part?
01:24 No, let's talk about that. You guys play. And remember what impeachment inquiry
01:32 is, is simply the ability to give the House Republicans and Democrats the
01:37 power when you request for information. So if you were lawmakers and you hold
01:44 you in high esteem because you are investigative reporters in a minute,
01:47 you're supposed to cover this stuff.
01:48 When I came into
01:51 power, I didn't know any of this. I did not know when he was vice president
01:57 that his family created 20 shell companies. I had no idea about that.
02:00 Don't not saying that's wrong. I did not know he got 16 of the 17 payments
02:06 from Romania while he was vice president and he was supposed to be in charge of
02:10 Romania. I didn't know that. I had no idea when a whistleblower came to us
02:14 and said that the FBI has an informant they still pay who claims
02:21 that the president was bribed by $5 million. It was interesting. We had to
02:26 fight to get that document. And when we got that document, it said it would be
02:30 hard to find because he has a lot of shell companies. Then I had no idea
02:35 that IRS agents would come to us.
02:38 How would I know they come to us and say, look, we've worked for 16 years.
02:44 We don't have any
02:44 um political basis on the other side, but we're concerned with what's
02:50 happened here, that D. O. J. Allowed
02:53 the statute of limitations to run out that they weren't allowed to interview
02:59 Hunter because when they went to the FBI, they told him and then they even
03:04 told the inaugural committee. I don't know how that play in that the D. O. J.
03:07 would call 100 biden's attorneys and tell them that they didn't even know
03:11 about a storage unit with all the papers before they could go there. Um,
03:16 the president told us he never had a meeting. He never talked to us. Look,
03:20 when he said he never talked to us and I didn't believe that. I don't think
03:23 it's wrong. If you talk to your son, I want you to talk to your kids about
03:25 anything, right? Doesn't mean you're influencing something, but he literally
03:29 I had no idea
03:30 that the partner to 100 biden that also served on the Ukrainian Energy Board
03:37 said they would literally call in the meetings. And then he said that they
03:42 were getting a lot of pressure barisma to do something about the Ukraine
03:46 prosecutor. And I did know the president tell the entire country that
03:50 he withheld a billion dollars of american taxpayer money to get rid of
03:54 the prosecutor. Um, and then we found out that the president not only called
03:59 in the meetings that he went to Cafe Milano, he went to Cafe Milano more
04:02 times and met with the foreign business partners of 100 biden than he has gone
04:07 to the border in 50 years. But with each meeting that you went to Cafe Milano
04:10 and I've never had this happen. I've been to Cafe Milano, but I've never
04:13 gotten a new Porsche the next day and I never got $3 million wired to me from
04:18 a russian oligarch. So if you knew all of that,
04:21 would you at least say, hmm,
04:25 I think there's more thing we've never asked for the tax or the bank
04:32 statements of the president of Hunter or anybody else. And these 20 shell
04:36 companies had credit cards that were being paid. Now, this laptop that was
04:40 supposed to be russian that we now found out was hunter in there. He did
04:44 say his father would take the money from him. Um, he did make and we did
04:50 find out that the president, I didn't know this when I became speaker, used
04:55 another name while he was vice president for emails. And in one of the
04:59 emails, it said that, um, it only went to him and his son hunter. And it was
05:05 about a phone call he was going to have with the president of Ukraine. Now,
05:11 if you knew all of that, would you say, oh, I don't have any more questions
05:15 or would you at least as a lawmaker and you have a role here, wouldn't you
05:21 at least say, okay, well, we're going to have to go get some more documents.
05:25 And if you're going to get more documents, I just want to make sure if
05:28 they're going to fight it and string everything out that we can get it.
05:31 That's all impeachment inquiry. Now, if that made the president upset, maybe
05:35 he shouldn't have lied to us from the beginning.
