00:21 The woman accused Bauer of sexually assaulting her during two encounters in the spring of
00:26 2021, prompting the former Cy Young Award winner to be placed on administrative leave

00:33 The woman was later denied a permanent restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court, and the
00:38 District Attorney's Office declined to file criminal charges against Bauer.
00:44 But MLB which has the authority to apply punishment outside the criminal justice system, and spoke
00:49 to other women who made similar accusations, handed Bauer a three to four game suspension
00:55 in April 2022, twice longer than the previous high under its domestic violence policy.
01:03 An independent arbitrator shortened the suspension to 190 for games in December and ruled that
01:08 Bauer be reinstated, prompting the Dodgers to release Bauer, who is currently pitching
01:13 in Japan.
01:16 Bauer sued the woman for defamation in April 2022, and the woman countersued for sexual
01:21 battery for months later.
01:23 Court proceedings had been scheduled to begin in February, but both sides have agreed to
01:27 drop their respective cases.
01:30 The woman, Lindsay Hill, will receive $300,000 in insurance policy proceeds that will be
01:36 sent in a trust account to her lawyer's offices, according to an email from Hill's lawyers
01:41 that was provided by a representative with Bauer.
01:45 Trevor Bauer and Lindsay Hill have settled all outstanding litigation, Bauer's attorneys,
01:50 John Federolf and Sean Holley, wrote in a statement on Monday.
01:56 Both of their respective claims have been withdrawn with prejudice effective today.
02:01 Mr. Bauer did not make and never has made any payments to Ms. Hill, including to resolve
