00:00 here at the BMI Awards in London. How does it feel to be here and be honoured?

00:04 Feels great, thanks so much for having me, it's a pleasure.

00:07 And how did you feel when you found out you were going to get one of those medals tonight?

00:11 Yeah, it was a bit mind-blowing to be honest, you know, it's a real privilege to be here and

00:15 be honoured like that, I'm very appreciative.

00:17 100% yeah, we went from like wailing in the studio late night to suddenly hearing

00:22 the amazing work Doja did with it, so I'm always grateful to her,

00:25 you know, for turning it into the track that it is, couldn't have done it without her obviously.

00:30 And yeah, it's amazing, you write all these songs, you never know what's going to connect

00:33 and that track just took off around the world, it's great that it was, you know, empowering to women.

00:38 I mean I guess I have to say thank you to Yeti Beats,

00:41 Linden J and Ainsley for writing it with me, so it wasn't just me, collaborative effort.

00:45 But yeah, I'm really humbled and so thankful that something that I wailed one night could

00:49 sort of get people bopping on the dance floor, yeah, no, it's an amazing, it's an amazing feeling.
