00:06 Just a day after announcing that she's adding a new slate of concerts to her reflection,

00:10 the Las Vegas residency, Carrie Underwood made an appearance and performed on Today.

00:16 As part of the 2023 City Concert Series, the country star performed a song from from her

00:22 album Denim and Rhinestones titled "She Don't Know" as well as her 2006 hit "Before He Cheats."

00:29 During an interview with Today, Underwood also gave a glimpse into her days when she

00:33 isn't in the studio or on the road days when she is simply being a mom.

00:38 The star described a typical non-working day, noting that her husband, Mike Fisher, takes

00:43 their two sons to school while she handles duties such as vacuuming and checking to make

00:47 sure her kids' rooms are clean.

00:49 Working out and gardening are also on the list.

00:52 "I'm always cooking something or canning something.

00:55 I kind of live in the kitchen, making bread or something."

00:59 she shared on NBC's long-running morning show.

01:02 "Then, before you know it, they come home and we make dinner."

01:06 Like many parents, Underwood also fights the struggle against too much screen time for

01:11 her kids.

01:12 "It's such a battle, right?

01:13 Even television.

01:14 I kind of notice when they watch too much TV, they have an attitude shift.

01:19 I'm like, 'Why are you moody?

01:22 What are we doing?'

01:23 And then it's like, 'Oh.'

01:25 And sometimes they've learned a lot from different television's programs and movies.

01:29 But yeah, it's a struggle."

01:32 She also hopes to keep her kids away from phones and social media for as long as possible,

01:37 Underwood said.

01:38 "There has been a whole grassroots initiative within their school, a bunch of parents getting

01:43 together and discussing how we can keep our kids kind of away from technology, especially,

01:48 like, social media and stuff."
