00:15 Although King Charles was born on
00:16 November 14, Australia aligns
00:18 with British traditions, generally
00:20 marking the holiday in June.
00:22 New South Wales, Victoria, Tassie,
00:24 the ACT, the NT and
00:26 SA all observed the King's birthday
00:29 on June 12.
00:30 Queensland will mark the public
00:32 holiday on the first Monday of
00:33 October and WA will
00:34 celebrate it on September 25
00:38 to more evenly spread out its annual
00:40 public holidays.
00:41 Unlike some other holidays, most
00:44 businesses will operate, although
00:45 some may have reduced hours.
