01:17 J. Ren Seculario, deny minors were forced into marriage in their community.

01:22 Their denials come after at least three children testified about how they were forced to marry

01:26 and engage in sexual relations with arranged partners.

01:30 Fifteen-year-old Jane says she was married off to a stranger when she was 14, adding

01:34 Kilario, known as "Senor Aguila" to the community, decides the pairings.

01:39 Another witness, Love Lisa Vandal, tearfully recounts how she witnessed her 12-year-old

01:43 sister get forced to marry a boy she did not know.

01:46 "What happened was, my sister got pregnant.

01:52 She got pregnant twice and miscarried.

01:55 The second miscarriage, she almost died."

02:01 The House of Representatives passes the spending plan of the Marcos administration for 2024,

02:10 Budget Secretary Amina Pangandaman says the government's 2024 spending plan is higher

02:25 The House took longer to pass the budget request this year, taking 57 days compared to last

02:29 year's 37 days.

02:31 A total of 296 lawmakers vote in favor of the passage of House Bill 8980, while three

02:38 others from the Makabayan bloc vote against it.

02:41 Meantime, Kabataan Party List Representative Raul Manuel's microphone was turned off when

02:46 he tried to question the speedy passage of the proposed budget.

02:52 The Ateneo de Manila University continues to lead Philippine schools as the top university

03:47 the new Matatag curriculum does not seek to revise history.

06:50 The MTRCB adjudication board chairperson says the panel took the complaints it received

06:55 in consideration over DeLeon's remarks.
