00:11 hard fought and what a sort of occasion for Newcastle. It wasn't the greatest game in the

00:17 world as 0-0's rarely are but Newcastle came to Milan and gave it a right good go even though

00:24 the start of the game Nick Probe had six saves to make in the opening 15 minutes. Sort of backs

00:30 against the wall stuff, Milan if they were more clinical would have won this game but Newcastle

00:35 stayed in it and I thought they were much improved in the second half. It was a more controlled

00:41 performance, still not at their all-firing best as a 0-0 draw would suggest but the Newcastle fans,

00:47 3,900 of them there, made their voices heard and it's fair to say the rest of the 69,000 there

00:54 are about Milan fans here certainly made an occasion of it as well. They've been here so

01:02 many times before, Champions League group stage opener but what an atmosphere they put on,

01:08 what a show and on the pitch they'll be disappointed Milan not to have come away with

01:12 a win. They had I think 25 shots in the game which probably shows how good Nick Probe was,

01:18 made several good saves in the game and for me defended very well as a whole, as a unit,

01:26 Newcastle now back-to-back clean sheets which is good. First time since January showing that

01:32 defensive solidarity again. They did ride the look slightly at times although Eddie Howe played that

01:37 suggestion down in his press conference afterwards but I thought if we're talking about man of the

01:42 match performances, Nick Probe certainly up there I thought to keep him trippy I just showed that

01:46 Champions League now see how he really stepped up the plate and was that calm head Newcastle needed

01:52 and when it was sort of looking a bit dicey at times, backs against the wall but he was

01:57 he was exceptional, key and trippy and another player who I think deserves a lot of credit as

02:02 well is Sean Longstaff, his Champions League debut, new experience for him, Geordie Lard and

02:06 could have won it at the end for Newcastle, had a shot well saved but great performance from him

02:12 and Newcastle take away a hard-earned point in the Champions League opener and now it's on the PSG
