I was like, it was a huge deal.

And I was so nervous and watching the video back,

I'm like, I can see how nervous I was.

But as what age as I was 12,

I'm proud of myself that I got out there

'Cause I loved her show, but it was amazing.

- At home in Cork, Ireland is where it all began.

Ally started playing music at the age of nine,

the same year her mother suddenly died.

She turned to writing music as a way of coping.

- Her death impacted my songwriting.

Like I was writing a lot of songs about it

and I think it helped me escape from everything about it.

And I'm not good about talking about my feelings.

I write a song and I always feel better.

While many record companies have approached her for deals,

she hasn't signed with any yet.
