Twenty-seven-year-old Bajrang Punia will spearhead India's wrestling campaign at Tokyo Olympics. It will be Bajrang's maiden Summer Games and on the back of his international performances, he is a top medal contender in the 65kg freestyle category. Gold medals at 2018 Asian Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games have made Bajrang one of the biggest medals hopes at Tokyo 2020. Bajrang qualified for Tokyo Olympics when he won bronze in the 2019 world championships. In 2018, he had won silver at the world championships to become the world No. 1 in the 65 kg category.
