00:00 Our elders still speak to us when the wind blows, giving us guidance.

00:05 We ask Mother Earth to open her arms up, to give us warmth from her heart.

00:11 But when it rains, it's tears from her eyes.

00:14 We ask our Lord to take us by the hand and lead us.

00:19 We ask the men and women of war to do the same.

00:25 We ask the Christians to open their hearts and let us know our love.

00:33 I would like to pay my respects to my people, to one and all people.

00:37 The traditional ancestors of this land, and recognize the real connection to the land we live on today.

00:43 For they hold the memories, tradition and culture of this land that we love, work, play and live on.

00:52 I would like to acknowledge all Aboriginal people and non-Aboriginal people that are here today.

00:56 On behalf of myself, of one of the elders, I welcome you to our land.
