Manipur Viral Video: Probe Transferred To CBI, Centre Requests Supreme Court To Shift Trial Outside State

The Centre on July 28 informed the Supreme Court that investigation has been transferred to the CBI in the Manipur viral video case. The Centre further requested the apex court to shift the entire case, including trial, outside Manipur and sought a direction that the trial be concluded within a period of six months from the date of the filing of charge sheet by the CBI.
