Typhoon Doksuri made landfall in the Philippines on Wednesday as strong winds and rain lashed the Northern part of the country, causing rivers to overflow and leaving thousands without power. At least 1 person has been killed in the northern archipelago as the heavy rains has resulted in the flooding of low-lying villages and has displaced thousands of people.
