Disaster authorities in the central Philippines are preparing for the arrival of Typhoon Melor as it approaches areas devastated by typhoon Haiyan two years ago.Tens of thousands of people have been evacuated, while schools and some offices in the have been closed. Melor is plotting a similar path to Haiyan, a category 5 typhoon that struck the central Philippines in 2013.
