00:24 In a statement obtained by What's Trending, a spokesperson for the James family shared
00:28 that their son suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital.
00:31 The statement from the family reads, "Yesterday while practicing, Bronny James suffered a
00:35 cardiac arrest.
00:36 Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital.
00:39 He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.
00:42 We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and will update media when there is
00:46 more information."
00:47 The statement also went on to thank those who helped for the safety and dedication of
00:50 the USC medical teams.
00:51 It continues stating, "LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks
00:56 and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication

01:02 According to TMZ Sports, a 911 call was made around 9.26am at the USC Gallin Center in

01:08 This same location is where the Trojans basketball team plays and practices.
01:13 According to the site, Bronny was unconscious and taken to the hospital via ambulance.
01:16 Bronny is a McDonald's All-American player who recently joined a play for USC.

01:23 One in particular, Buffalo Bills' Damar Hamlin, took to Twitter to offer his support

01:29 The player went into cardiac arrest on the field earlier this year during an NFL game.
