00:00 Well, Tramlines is over for another year and as you see behind me the clean up has started now.

00:07 Sheffield Council said that mitigation for the high rainfall was put in every day during the festival

00:15 and as a result of that extra ground work repairs are expected to be needed this year, basically because of the huge amount of rain.

00:24 Tramlines ground crew are visiting the site today to assess the overall picture

00:30 and the council says that it may take a few days to understand what's needed to be done.

00:36 However, they say that what they call crossing paths are intended to be in place and open this week for residents.

00:45 So, Tramlines ground crew are starting carrying out ground works repairs, hopefully from July 13th, that's what the council has said.

00:57 And they've also said that Tramlines will pay for any work.

01:03 What's your views on the clean up elements of Tramlines?

01:08 Who stands to cost of all the clean up of all the park and putting the turf back together and everything?

01:15 Does all the businesses benefit now? I'm not so sure.

01:19 I don't know, if somebody could answer those questions, I'd be quite happy.

01:23 Do you think the clean up that's starting today after Tramlines is worth it?

01:27 Of course it is. Money well spent. Great for the economy, this festival.

01:33 We were all locked up with Covid not long ago, thank God we're all out there enjoying it.

01:37 A bit of rain. My daughter came down here, she's 18, 19 just gone, and a fantastic writer passed, she said to me, she said,

01:44 covered in mud and in bed this morning till late, but what a memory she's got.

01:49 And it was great to see Wetherspoons this morning, they were cleaning up, cleaning all the stools and everything,

01:54 they were all smiling, they were all having a great time. I think it's fantastic.

01:57 And stop complaining about a bit of mud, it'll get better.

02:01 I think this year's obviously a special year with rain, but generally speaking, yeah, it's not an issue.

02:07 You think it's a good thing for the city? Yeah, definitely.

02:10 Do you think Tramlines is worth it with the clean up that we've got today, even though it's very popular?

02:15 Not for this weekend, especially with the weather. It's very, very bad for just the beginning of the school holidays.

02:22 Children wanting to go in the park, it's just going to be a big mess.

02:26 Do you think it's been a bad time then from that perspective?
