Cooper: Laws must keep up with threat of AI radicalisation

Yvette Cooper has claimed that there is a gap in the law that could be exploited to enable AI chatbots to radicalise people and to promote terrorism and violence.

The Shadow Home Secretary said: “Our laws are out of date… National security threats are changing so fast, the danger is that the government is just not keeping up, and laws have to keep up too, especially with new AI and online radicalisation.” Report by Covellm.
