NSW firefighters call for better protections from exposure to carcinogens at work

It's been a year since the World Health Organisation declared firefighting a cancer-causing profession because of exposure to carcinogens. Despite that, only a dozen cancers are covered by workers' compensation in NSW and there are firefighters who believe they are being exposed to carcinogens before they even leave the station.
