High-speed zipline proposed for Tasmanian tourist destination faces opposition

Thrillseekers will be able to hurtle down kunanyi-Mt Wellington in Tasmania at speeds of up to 100 kilometre per hour if a developer gets approval for a new zipline. The proponent will lodge a development application within months, but the project faces opposition from some residents and Aboriginal organisations.
