NEWS: Hotel operators lambast proposed tourism tax

The M’sian Association of Hotel Owners has lambasted the proposed tourism tax on, among others, concerns they would need to make up for the shortfall should their guests fail to pay the tax. In addition, hotel operators will need to spend on updating their accounting systems as they would be in charge of managing the collection of the tax.
