Woman pretends to propose as a joke only to be proposed to - seconds later

A woman got the surprise of her life when she proposed to her partner as a joke - only for her to pop the question seconds later.
Courtney Thrun, 23, was planning to propose to her partner Elizabeth Irene, 23, but Elizabeth beat her to it as a laugh.
An adorable video shows Elizabeth getting on one knee and pretending to propose to Courtney as a joke before laughing it off.
But just as she stands back up, Courtney gets on her knee, a ring in her hand and proposes to Elizabeth.
After Elizabeth worked out Courtney was being serious, she said yes and the pair went on a wine-tasting trip.
Courtney, an MBA student who lives in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA said: "Her joking made her second guess if I was being serious.
"We were really excited and happy."
Courtney had been planning the proposal for a month but hadn't chosen the right place until she found a perfect spot with a view in Porto, Portugal.
She told Elizabeth that she was vlogging their trip and set up her tripod to record a moment.
She explained: " I told Liz that I was making a vlog of the trip so she wouldn’t be suspicious.
"When we got to the place I set up my tripod and said I wanted a cute video of us that we could also screenshot for pictures.
"I had bought the ring about a month beforehand but I didn’t know how and where I was going to do it until we were there and I saw the view.
"It was really pretty and we were in a private space. "
