SA budget looks to reduce hospital long stays

The South Australian government has allocated $67 million in a bid to stop the Monday bed block, when overcrowding in the state’s hospital system typically hits hardest. $40 million will be put towards reducing long stays as patients wait for NDIS or aged care placements.
