Glastonbury festival organisers have asked revellers not to bring disposable vapes due to their impact on the environment.Ahead of the iconic festival later this month, organisers have updated their “what to bring” and “what not to bring” lists. Last year, disposable vapes could be purchased on-site.“Do not bring disposable vapes,” the guidance reads. “They pollute the environment and can be hazardous at waste centres.”It is unclear if vapes will be confiscated from people if they are found at the event. Glastonbury festival has been asked to clarify the policy.Electronic vapes contain materials that are pollutants and never fully decompose, and are classed as Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
