Ashton hero celebrated with blue plaque

A Wigan Council Blue Plaque was unveiled for Second World War British Spy, hero and concentration camp survivor, Mary O'Shaughnessy, who was born in Ashton-in-Makerfield, at a ceremony attended by the Mayor of Wigan and a relative of Mary, held at Ashton-in-Makerfield Library.
