It's been one month since the Northern Territory Government offered to buy back liquor licenses from grocery stores across the territory in a bid to reduce alcohol related crime and there have been promising early signs. Around 40 per cent of the territory's small liquor outlets have signed up to negotiate with the government about whether to give up their licenses for a payoff.
