A large water licence grant is set to go ahead in Northern Territory

The largest water licence ever granted in the Northern Territory will go ahead, after the NT Supreme Court dismissed a challenge over its legality. The controversial licence will eventually allow up to 40,000 megalitres of groundwater to be extracted each year from a property north of Alice Springs.
