Crab or yuyu (Gecarcinucoidea) is a type of freshwater crab. This word is taken from the Javanese language yuyu, which comes from the Old Javanese hayuyu. There are many types of freshwater crabs, and they are often found in rivers, lakes and rice fields; including in the ditches and the surrounding dirt. In zoology, yuyu species usually belong to the Parathelphusidae or Gecarcinucidae tribes, the superfamily Gecarcinucoidea.
