Asphalting of good roads in river basin, waste of lakhs; Seniors demand curbs on administrative rule

Pune, Dt. March 17, 2023 (Checkmate Times): Ramesh Khamkar, a senior citizen, has alleged that this administrator is #squandering the tax money of common Pune residents by scraping the road and #asphalting it with the help of JCB. Where this road was built, there was a smooth road and where there was and still is a bad road, there was no tarmac. Khamkar has also asked the question that this is the situation on many roads in the city, who will curb it.

पुणे, दि. 17 मार्च 2023 (चेकमेट टाईम्स): एरंडवणे ते डेक्कन या नदीपात्रातील रस्त्यावरील चांगल्या रस्त्याच्या भागात जेसीबीच्या सहाय्याने रस्ता खरडून त्यावर डांबरीकरण करत, सामान्य पुणेकरांच्या कररुपी पैशांची हे प्रशासकराज उधळपट्टी करत असल्याचा आरोप ज्येष्ठ नागरिक रमेश खामकर यांनी केला आहे. ज्या ठिकाणी हा रस्ता केला, तिथे गुळगुळीत रस्ता होता आणि जिथे खराब रस्ता होता आणि आताही आहे, तिथे मात्र डांबरीकरण केले नाही. शहरातील अनेक रस्त्यांवर हीच परिस्थिती असून, याला कोण अंकुश लावणार असा सवालही खामकर यांनी केला आहे.
