Queensland's Youth Justice Department says it will conduct an urgent review into how long a 13-year-old indigenous boy was held in solitary confinement while at a Townsville Youth Detention Centre. The child spent 45 days locked in his cell for 24 hours, including one stretch in isolation for 22 days, according to evidence presented to the Cairns Children Court last Friday.
