Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is the fifth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series, taking place five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. The game puts players in the role of DC Comics antiheroes Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they are recruited by Amanda Waller and sent to Metropolis to stop the alien invader Brainiac and save the members of the Justice League who have been brainwashed by him.
The game features an original narrative set within an expansive open-world city of Metropolis, with each squad member having their own unique moveset with enhanced traversal abilities to freely explore the dynamic open-world. Players can take down The Justice League themselves in single-player or team up with friends in multiplayer co-op. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a live-service game, with a “gear score” that sounds similar to Power in Destiny and a battle pass offering items that players can use to customize their characters. A PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership will be required to play via online co-op, but console players will be able to play solo without a subscription.
