A five-year-old girl gave an hilarious reaction when her mother jokingly forbade her from kissing her new 'boyfriend' at school.

Video shows Maxine Louise Mann, 27, walking to her daughter Jessica to school and 'warning' her against hugging and kissing her "boyfriend".

Jessica can be heard denying she has a boyfriend after previously phoning her mum to tell her about her new "boyfriend".

Maxine Louise, 27, is heard saying: "Remember. No kissing."

Little Jessica responded: "Yeah, I know. I'm just kidding on Mummy! No! We're not even allowed to kiss in school anyway. I'm just kidding on."

Maxine Louise, a support worker from Airdrie, Scotland, said: "She phoned me from my mum's and said ‘Mum are you sitting down. I have something to tell you. I have a boyfriend'.

"I found it hilarious for her only being five. She went on to get a girlfriend and now has another boyfriend."

The footage was captured on January 20.
