The Spike Drivers were a group originally from Detroit, Michigan, who after their debut single which helped secure them a manager, moved to New York and had a contract with Atlantic Records. 1960s typical mid-fast garage sounds with male/female vocal harmonies, and a strong West Coast flavor. The band was active from 1965 to 1967.
