Debut album by Pure Prairie League formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 1969. The group named the band after a woman's temperance group in the 1939 Errol Flynn movie "Dodge City". The group built up a following in Ohio, playing around Cincinnati for a year before earning a contract with RCA Victor. Mild country-pop, similar to Poco and Eagles, with some very nice guitar and pedal stee, and nice vocals harmonies.
