Stoney & the Jagged Edge - album Chasing rainbows 1968 (2014)

  • anno scorso
Stoney & The Jagged Edge formed in Detroit, Michigan around 1966. Contemporaries to MC5, Stooges and SRC the group were one of the premier attractions at the Grande Balroom and used to open for acts such as Cream as well as The Doors but at the end of 1968 after just 20 months together the band fell apart, and the album they were recording (six songs of the planned 9) ended up forgotten in some drawer. Many years later someone found the tapes and the album was postmously released in 2014 on Big Beat Records.
