Security has been beefed up in the Udhampur area of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Republic Day. Security Forces, on January 21, increased their strength in the area and checkpoints have been set up. CRPF personnel keep a strict vigil on National Highway-44 and special sniffer dogs are pressed into action. They are also checking all the vehicles and conducting search operations on a daily basis.
