‘I don’t think I can make it’: Passengers stuck in London Paddington despite end of train strikes

The latest round of the RMT worker strikes came to an end at 6 am on Tuesday (27 December).However, as passengers started to arrive later in the morning, they found themselves waiting around empty platforms across the UK.Trains did not run until 9 am this morning as hundreds of travellers got stuck in Paddington station.Lumo, which also runs services between London and Edinburgh, will not start until 3pm.70 per cent of services will be operating today, according to Network Rail.
