RMT boss: Passengers can ‘get their journeys done’ for Christmas
  • last year
RMT general secretary, Mick Lynch, plays down the impact of the rail strikes on passengers, saying: “I hope people can see their families at Christmas… the strikes finish tomorrow which is a full week before Christmas.” Speaking from the picket line outside Euston Station in central London, he adds: “People can make arrangements, the railway will be running. We’ve left that period between Saturday and Christmas Eve free for people to get their journeys done.” Report by Patelr.
