टर्बिनेट यानी नाक के अंदर वायु मार्ग की सतह पर मौजूद वो बनावट होती है जो नाक के अंदर जाने वाली हवा को नम और गर्म दोनों बनाती है। ऐसे में अगर ये टर्बिनेट बढ़ जाए तो नाक के अंदर जाने वाली हवा में रूकावट आनी शुरू हो जाती है। आम भाषा में इस स्थिति को नाक की हड्डी बढ़ना कहते हैं।
Turbinate is a structure present on the surface of the air passages inside the nose that makes the air going inside the nose both moist and warm. In such a situation, if this turbinate increases, then the air going inside the nose starts getting blocked. In common language, this condition is called nasal bone enlargement.
