[Note]

This lick is in the key of C♯ major blues.
This lick was played on I to V to IV chords.
The lick starts with a C♯ major triad + 4th arpeggio based phrase.
And then it goes on with C♯ major pentatonic scale run.

And then from the bending, it's a V chord specific phrase.
The bending is targeting M7th of the key, which is the M3rd of V7 chord.
And then the scale run is basically C♯ major pentatonic scale + additional notes as shown in the diagram.
For those who know more music theory, G♯ mixolydian scale (the same as C♯ major scale) is more accurate interpretation.
And then there's a chromatic approach from the 5th (G♯) to the M3rd (F) .
B.B. King apparently likes this chromatic approach when the chord changes from V to IV. He used this twice in this live version.

And then from here, the lick goes on on IV chord.
The first 3 notes are a chromatic approach towards the M3rd of IV chord. It is very chordal.
The rest of the lick was played in the red box position of C♯ major pentatonic scale.
Note that the M3rd of the scale (F in this case) doesn't generally fit IV chord. But you can use the scale if you exclude the M3rd.
The red box is C♯ major pentatonic scale without M3rd and it fits IV chord. From IV chord point of view, the notes are the M2nd(9th), M3rd, 5th, M6th(13th). No wonder it fits IV chord.
Also this red box position is easy to incorporate with C♯ minor pentatonic scale position 1

For those who know more music theory, F♯ mixolydian scale (the same as B major scale) is more accurate and straight-forward interpretation.
Notice C♯ minor pentatonic scale position 1 overlaps the blue box of the diagram.
Try exploring possible approaches beyond major and minor pentatonic scale.
