Torrential lane forced commuters to wade through knee-deep water in London this afternoon. Flash floods struck outside Chiswick Park tube station on Acton Lane after the downpour started at around 3pm (17). After a couple of hours, huge pools of water filled the road. Barber shop owner David Rogers, 35, said: "Range Rovers, Porsches and just every day cars were battling through it. "People were walking through it too - it was up to their knees."
