Rahul Gandhi attacks BJP, says 'India under dictatorship, democracy is dead'

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while addressing the media on Friday, attacked the BJP-led government at the Centre and said, "Today there is no democracy in India. We are not allowed to speak, we are not allowed to protest, we get suspended from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Our country is under dictatorship and the democracy has died."

He further said, "We're witnessing the death of democracy. What India has built brick by brick, starting almost a century ago, is being destroyed in front of your eyes. Anybody who stands against this idea of the onset of dictatorship is viciously attacked, jailed, arrested and beaten up."
