No case of monkeypox has been reported in India so far, but the government has issued instructions to remain alert in view of the increasing outbreak of this disease. Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry has also issued instructions to take special precautions in Madhya Pradesh.

दुनिया के 11 देशों में मंकी पॉक्स वायरस फैलने के बाद भारत में भी इसका खतरा मंडरा रहा है। ऐसे में अभी कोरोना महामारी खत्म भी नहीं हुई थी की इस बीमारी ने टेंशन बढ़ा दी है। भारत में अभी तक मंकीपॉक्स का कोई मामला सामने नहीं आया है, लेकिन सरकार ने इस बीमारी के बढ़ते प्रकोप को देखते हुए अलर्ट रहने के निर्देश जारी किए है। इसी बीच केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने मध्यप्रदेश में भी विशेष सावधानी बरतने के निर्देश जारी किए हैं।
