Monkeypox cases are being reported in many countries of the world, so far more than 100 cases have come to Europe. Now BMC has also become alert regarding monkeypox. Mumbai's civic body has made arrangements for isolation of suspected patients at Kasturba Hospital here, under which a 28-bed ward has been prepared. An official of the BMC's Public Health Department said that so far no suspected patient or confirmed case of monkeypox has been reported in Mumbai. But a separate ward has been prepared as a precaution.

दुनिया के कई देशों में मंकीपॉक्स के मामले सामने आ रहे हैं,अब तक 100 से ज्यादा मामले यूरोप में आ चुके हैं। अब मंकीपॉक्स को लेकर BMC भी अलर्ट हो गई है. मुंबई के नगर निकाय ने यहां के Kasturba Hospital में संदिग्ध मरीजों को अलग रखने की व्यवस्था की है, जिसके तहत 28 बिस्तरों वाला एक वार्ड तैयार किया गया है. बीएमसी के जन स्वास्थ्य विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने बताया कि अब तक मुंबई में मंकीपॉक्स के किसी भी संदिग्ध मरीज या पुष्ट मामले की कोई सूचना नहीं मिली है. लेकिन एहतियात के तौर पर अलग से वार्ड तैयार किया गया है
