A team of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) raided a stone crushing unit in Falegaon. Where he said, “Theft of electricity was being done remotely by the use of gadgets that tampered with meter readings. In the last 29 months total electricity theft of more than 34 lakh (34,09,901) units worth ₹5.93 crore has been estimated.

महाराष्ट्र राज्य विद्युत वितरण कंपनी लिमिटेड (एमएसईडीसीएल) की टीम ने पांच मई को फलेगांव में एक स्टोन क्रशिंग इकाई पर छापा मारा था. इसके बाद इस कारनामे का खुलासा हुआ. उन्होंने कहा, ‘मीटर रीडिंग में छेड़छाड़ करने वाले गैजेट के इस्तेमाल से दूर से बिजली की चोरी की जा रही थी. पिछले 29 महीनों में ₹5.93 करोड़ की 34 लाख से ज्यादा (34,09,901) यूनिट कुल बिजली चोरी का अनुमान लगाया गया है.
