The cyclonic storm Asani formed over the Bay of Bengal is about 300 km south-east of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh. Due to the cyclone, winds can reach up to 105 kilometers per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, due to cyclone 'Asani', there may be strong winds and rain in many parts of Andhra Pradesh till the morning of May 11.

बंगाल की खाड़ी के ऊपर बना चक्रवाती तूफान असानी आंध्र प्रदेश के काकीनाडा से लगभग 300 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पूर्व में है। चक्रवात के कारण 105 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवाएं चल सकती हैं। मौसम विभाग की मानें तो चक्रवात 'असानी' के कारण आंध्र प्रदेश के कई हिस्सों में 11 मई की सुबह तक तेज हवाएं और बारिश होत सकती है.
