Equal education is a fundamental right for the citizens of the country. In such a situation, for the purpose of educating the future generation of the country, the state governments have arranged government schools. Where the poorest child can get education in very low or nominal fees. In the last decades, by studying in these government schools, children reach good places. But now there is a decrease in the number of government schools in the country. A UDISE report has been released in this regard.

समान शिक्षा देश के नागरिकों को लिये मौलिक अधिकार है। ऐसे में देश की भावी पीढ़ी को शिक्षित करने के उद्देश्य से राज्य सरकारों ने सरकारी स्कूलों की व्यवस्था की है। जहां बेहद कम या नाम मात्र की फीस में गरीब से गरीब बच्चा शिक्षा प्राप्त कर सकता है। बीते दशकों में इन्हीं सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ाई कर, बच्चे अच्छे-अच्छे मुकाम तक पहुंते हैं। लेकिन अब देश में सरकारी स्कूलों की संख्या में कमी दर्ज की जा रही है.. इस संबंध में UDISE की एक रिपोर्ट जारी हुई है।
